It’s not weird to have this kind of show where a guy with no personality finds a girl literally falling from the sky and then taking him into making his life more interesting, you know, the standard premise of romance anime, but this time the MC will fall in love with the girl to turn him into a vampire. Yofukashi no Uta is one of the most hyped anime of this season. Ready to let go of his dreary mortal life, Kou decides on a new goal: he will fall in love with Nazuna and become a vampire himself. In order to change, he must be bitten by someone he truly loves. While Kou thinks the bite will turn him into a vampire, the specifics of transforming are not that simple. Feeling uncomfortable, Kou only pretends to doze off-which is when Nazuna suddenly bites his neck, revealing herself to be a vampire! Nazuna offers to help Kou with his sleep issues and invites him over to her place, where she convinces him to share a futon with her. One night, Kou encounters a bizarre girl named Nazuna Nanakusa who believes that people stay awake during the night because they are dissatisfied with how they spent their day and cannot rest until they release their inhibitions. Plagued with insomnia due to his idleness, Kou begins roaming the lonesome streets at night. Because he sees little sense in surrendering to the norm, he soon stops going to school. Kou Yamori is an average middle school student who struggles with grasping the complex concept of love.

We’ve listed all eight Bridgerton books in order, so you’ll know exactly where to start. If you’re dying to know what happens next in the Ton - and know that you’ll quickly binge season three when it premieres on Netflix (release date TBD) - then settle in with the book series. Like the show, each novel follows the story of one Bridgerton child as they search for love and stumble into scandal. The Viscount Who Loved Me, the second novel and the inspiration behind the show’s second season, hit bookshelves at the end of that same year. The Duke & I, which season one of the Netflix series is largely based on, was published in 2000. Since there are a lot of storylines and characters to keep up with, here we break down how to read all of the Bridgerton books in order. While for many of us, Netflix gave us our first introduction to Bridgerton and all its drama and romance, the successful series is actually inspired by an eight-book series by author Julia Quinn, which has been around for nearly two decades. Now, viewers are getting a new look into the Ton with the new prequel series Queen Charlotte, which premiered on the streamer on Thursday, May 4. On Christmas Day 2020, Netflix debuted the period drama series Bridgerton and swiftly prompted millions of viewers everywhere to daydream about promenading through gardens, twirling in grand ballrooms, and using “make haste” in everyday conversation. Rock Chick Rescue takes you on a wild ride with Jet, Eddie and the gang as they wrestle bad guys in a bagel shop, hit Denver's backstreet poker tables (with big hair), and help the strippers at Smithie's take down a would-be murderer. Throw in a Dolly Parton look-alike, a gruff but lovable strip club owner, Jet's ne'er do well father, his ne'er do well friend, Bear, Bear's long-suffering, chain-smoking wife Lavonne and the crew from Rock Chick and you've got Rock Chick Rescue. Since Jet's used to solving everyone's problems she doesn't want Eddie's help. Since Eddie's a cop, he figures he can help. Eddie loses patience when Jet ends her waitressing shift at a strip club with a knife at her throat. Jet has too many problems to realize that Eddie's interested. Eddie Chavez has the hots for Jet (not to mention Eddie's just plain hot).
